Got a few questions. Pistons and rods have been changed, heads are removed for porting and just got them back today with 234/209 cfm @ .550 (was hoping for 220/202
What hoods give enough clearance for the 5.4?? Also, what miscellaneous parts do I need?? Does the 5.4 bolt up to our 4.6 bellhousings?? from the looks of it, they seem identical, but I could be wrong. The 4.6's and the 5.4's seem identical minus the obvious height increase, rods, and crank. Do you think the stock oil pump gears would be sufficient for 6500 RPM runs?? Hope to get a dyno and tune within 1-2 weeks if all goes well.
