I believe what you need comes down to:
-Wiring
-Making the intake manifold work
-I think the exhaust manifolds are a tight fit, but not sure
-You need a big friggin hood
go for 5.4 3v and it fits under your stock hood. 4.6 3v is even easier. 5.4 2v no way. too limited on non-boosted power. most truck guys are making 280rwhp with only bolt-ons. headers,duals,filter, tune. there is more there. if you use ther 4.6 stang
pcm or your stock pcm with the cam timing altered you will enjoy it.

only if you want VCT. however with cams large enough to make real power the phasers cant take it anyway . it's a better package than 4v and makes more power than 2v. power 4v>3v>2v. but 3v fits best. i use my stock 96 pcm. you need to know there is a lot of work and money to get it in.
