5*7's......

Yea, so i like others, have rattling 5*7's in my door panels. i took them out cause it was just too annoying, but i plan on replacing them. For now, all my sound is coming out of the mach speakers (the tweeters in the front and the 2 in the back). any reccomendations for replalcements?

really depends on how much you want to spend. I've never noticed much difference in 5x7 quality between good and top notch.

Then again, I think I have hearing damage thanks to my system (MacIntoch pushing 12' JL Audios) back in High School.

For 5x7s, I'd just head over to Circuit City or Best Buy, don't buy the cheap stuff. You're not going to be pissed off at the world if theu're not the best speakers on the market.

If you have a 99-04 you can replace the factory 5x7s with after market 6x8s.

I buy the cheap man's good stuff (Pioneer)

Pioneer DEH-P6700MP headunit
Pioneer TS-A6870R speakers in doors and rear is what I got. (220 Watts max)

thats what i was gonna say, if its 99+..id go with 6x8's...and andy couldnt had put it any better, u can pick a pair of 6x8's at walmart for like 50-60$...just watch the wiring, mine used to get caught up in the window when id rolled it down into the door
