hey, is it true that you can change the axels from a ranger to a mustang 79-93?

if so what needs to be done to do it? thx

2 left hand ranger axles

take axles out, put axles in. also probably need the 5 lug drums and some 5 lug wheels.

i have a 8.8 rear. does this matter?

I just did mines this past weekend

Axles are easy to do, unscrew the bolt that holds the cotterpin(i think thats what its called??) then slide the axles out, repeat the steps.... I got my axles from a 87 ranger and took the drums... 2 driverside axles....
