I was actually looking into the kit myself so I figure I'll bump the thread for ya. The kit definitely seems like a good buy, 50 resto has a lot of good package deals for reasonable prices. But Idk, ne1 out there bought the kit yet?

Works, but any of the 96+ GT 17" wheels and 98+ 17"-18" cobra wheels dont work with the front rotors.

That's what I was thinking. It's basically just Lincoln rotors and Ranger (?) axles, which you should be able to get at a junkyard for a lot less than $400. Plus, like Matt said, you can't run a lot of the more popular 5-lug rims, which makes it all kinda worthless.

Someone has a list that has tried all the rims and anything with the small center will not work because of the bearing cap size. I think you can use some of the generic look a likes but not sure which models. I do know that the 94-95 Cobra rims work which will give you the 17" wheel size.

That kit is overpriced. Go to a yard and get the axles. Then to the parts store for the drums and rotors. And again and again, yes any rim works on those rotors with longer studs and 14/16th spacers.
