5 lug conversion ?'s

You could probably run the wheels, but the center caps might not fit because of the dust cap.

bullits will not clear the dust cap, regardless of what anyone says. a sn95 brake/spindle swap is the only way to correctly get bullits to fit.

they can work but the dust caps have to be beat in a good amount ( guy on another forum did it )

at that point you risk making a good seal and allowing moisture and dirt to come in contact with your bearings. is it really worth it?
I saw a guy staple his nuts to his leg on TV, but does that mean I am going to do it? Hell no. common sense has to kick in sometime.besides it would be much cheaper to piece together an Sn95 brake set up than to fork over the money they are asking for the lincoln rotors.
Whenever you make a post saying that I saw a guy on another forum do it, or my cousins girlfriends dentists receptionist told me it would work all you are doing is spreading bad advice. sure it might work if you want your car to be a half assed piece of crap that breaks down all the time and then you have to make a billion tech posts in talk about why your car wont run. If it really worked then everyone would be using the lincoln setup to run the newer 5 lug wheels.

just a thought , but why couldn't someone make flat dust caps, so that people could make these and the other rims fit with the lincoln set up? I mean it wouldnt cost much , and i think there would be some demand. couldnt you just slice the nose/ round part of the dust cap, and then maybe weld a flat piece of sheetmetal to the remaining ring? I dunno just an idea

I was just about to say the same thing!
Or make an affordable 5 lug rotor that fits correctly, how hard would it be for a company to machine 5 lugs instead of 4 into a new mustang rotor. I know Power Slot makes a 5 lug rotor but I dont know if its mustang or lincoln spec?
