I have mark VII axels, will they work with my stock 8.8 rear end. I read the mark vii axels are longer. I am sticking with drum brakes.

No.

Use your head here. Take the stock axles, now extend them 1.25" on each side. Stick the stock drum back on. What happens? The shoe will be outside of the drum!

If your going to use Mark 7 axles, use the disc brakes with them too, If you want to keep drums, get 2 Drivers Side Ranger/Bronco II Axles, or 2 Passenger Side Axles from an Aerostar

Yup, that's the only way....or some aftermarket Moser axles in 5-lug in the stock lenght.

Make sure you get 5-lug drums from the same vehicles as above. 9" drums in case you need to know
