I would like to buy the 50resto 5 lug conversion kit so I can install Weld Prostars. I have done some searching and it seems that there is some fitment issues with the dust cap. Since I have full access to a machine shop, I can do any mods I want to the rims, will this kit work for me? I'm not interested in doing a junkyard or SN95 swap. Thanks guys.

The junkyard swap is the best 5 lug swap you can perform. The 94-95 spindles allow you to run ANY 5 lug Mustang wheel with it's center cap. AND....you can run a hell of a front brake set up. 11" 94-04 rotors with 99-04 PBR's, or 13" Cobra rotors with Cobra calipers.

DEFINITELY MAKE SURE THAT YOU USE SN95 PARTS IN THE FRONT!!!! Sorry about the bold caps, but I'm just getting done going through hell because Steeda sold me 5-lug Fox spindles from Baer. They don't make wheels that fit these anymore and shouldn't be selling the kit with Fox spindles. I've needed spacers, longer studs, etc. to get this to work. Down the road I'll end up swapping out the spindles, I don't like running spacers on the front.

They are Mark 7 front rotors and ranger axles and rear drums.

Do you have the rims now? Go to local auto parts store and get a Mark 7 rotor and give it a test fit

the prostars will clear the rotors just fine, its the wheels like bullitts where the dust caps dont fit well.
