Hey guys I'm just getting the goods I need together for a 5 lug swap for the rear but i am staying with drums for now. I'm going with 5x4.5x4.5 pattern and backspacing. I am assuming that is what the 94-95 GT's came with. Can I just slap some 94-95 GT drums on or will Ranger drums fit also? What years. I've search for 5 lug swap using the search function and a billion threads come up. Just want to know what drums to put on a 5x4.5 axle with 4.5 backspacing. Thanks.

94-95 Mustang don't have rear drum brakes.

Use Ranger drums in the back with Ranger axles. I'd put new wheel cylinders on too while your in there. Cheap insurance.

+1 Ranger Drums

I bought a new set when I did the conversion the difference between Partsource and Pick 'n Pull was minimal then you can prep and paint much easier.

I'm going with 35 spline Stange Axles so as long as the drums fit. I just went to the parts store and got some 9" drums and shoes for a 90 Bronco II. I totally had a brain fart with the whole 94-95GT deal. I know they have discs, don't know where the hell my brain was.
