5 lug spare tire cobra brakes 15 or 16 inch

so 5L5 did you try the 15 inch on the rear?

Um, No. I completely forgot. I'll try again this weekend.



Nice to know the S197 spare does clear..but sucks that it's a larger diameter. Plug you'd have to swap it to the front. Running two differnt diameter wheels on a rear t-lok axle will quickly wear it out.

Actually its closer than a cobra spare i believe. Here's a spiffy comparison. The tire/rim is just too wide to fit in the spare tire well (17x5 vs 17x4 for the cobra spare).

I finally got around to test fitting my 15" SN95 spare tire on my rear cobra brakes.

Doesn't work. The caliper hits the welded "spokes" of the spare tire. I couldn't turn the wheel.

Guess i gotta chuck the spare on CL and go find a 17" spare somewhere now
