5 Speed to Auto? Fox Pedals/Shifter?

I am thinking about changing my 94 GT to an auto for my daughter to drive.I have an aod that is the tv cable style.
I think I can fab up a bracket to make it work.

Will fox body auto pedal assy and auto shifter work? There is an ad on craigslist in my area and I was thinking about picking them up.

just find someone who wants to trade straight across for everything you need. fox pedals won't work

The AOD will bolt up to the engine, but I don't know if it is a different length like the T5's are. (The Fox T5's are a bit shorter lengthwise, which causes problems installing the shifter) Your driveshaft might not be long enough after installing the AOD. Perhaps someone else can chime in and confirm or deny this.

I didn't think about the different lengths.I will check that.I have my old trans in the shop.

I have a 54 f-100 that I have an aod and 5.0 out of a Lincoln town car.I have the engine setting in the frame.The trucks not running yet.

My car has the t5,GT40p heads,trick flow stage one cam,under drive pulleys,crane ignition.

I am thinking about putting my mustang engine in the 54 and putting the Lincoln engine in the stang with the auto.

Agreed. There should be plenty of people willing to swap all that stuff out. Most people want to swap to a T-5, so the parts demand is in your favor. This is the best way because it guarantees that you get every part you need, and don't get nickel and dimed on the stuff you didn't think of. You could probably make money on the deal, or at least make someone very happy that it cost them nothing to swap to a T-5. The easiest solution is to teach your daughter how to drive a 5 speed.

Actually I have every thing, but the transmition was rebuilt a little over a year ago all of a sudden it started to shift erraticly . The only thing I don't have is the computer. Oh ya this stuff came out of a 1995 GT. If you want to work something out let me Know.
