I got these and within three days the driver window and lock don't work. They are getting power, just they are real weak. I bought them last winter, so I don't think I can return them for a refund, but I just got to installing them and they didn't last for crap.

Maby I can order new one's, send them back the ones that didn't work, and just say I got some from the dealer so I can get a refund or at least some extras that I can keep for spares or sell to get something back.

Yeah sounds like the "weak" hatch supports I got from 50resto...they couldn't hold up the hatch after 2 days... :nonono:

But I haven't had any problems with them other than that...I order from them very frequently...in fact I ordered an OEM valve cover gaskets and both headlight adjusting plates from them about an hour ago :nice:

I've ordered a lot of things form them over the years, good company. I doubt they actually rebuild them, probally get them from some vendor. I guess I'll give them a call tomorow and we'll work something out.

Jason, not sure what to tell ya. for the lock actuators, i really like JR's 3 dollar actuators. i did the retrofit and recommend it!

even given the time issues, LRS might work with you - people waiting to install parts is not uncommon.

cant think of anything useful to tell ya though. :) good luck. Take care.

thats the same reason i spent $90 apiece on 2 new door lock actuators from ford.i like some of latemodels stuff put some of it's cheap.my speedocable only lasted 2 weeks.thats why i'm getting one from ford next time.

i would probably cause a scene with 50resto. use how many times you have ordered from them as a little leverage maybe, and see if you get any where. the worst they can say is that no, they wont refund or replace it right....
