Yeah, so I bit the bullet and bought the procharger! Man I can't wait, its going to be sweet. I'll definitely keep everyone posted once I get that baby installed in a couple weeks.

Congratulations. I am certain you will not be disappointed!

Remember, it will be nearer the end of the month before it ships. They have released a few new kits this month, including the F-150s and GTs, and they are working very hard at meeting specified ship dates.

I am told there are no other issues aside getting them packed and shipped, but as you can imagine, there are many kits on order for the trucks and Mustangs!

Congrat's! I got a call from Saleen today and they said it would be another week or 2 until they ship me my blower. I think we should start another thread for superchargedS197 in a couple weeks.

How much $$ is the Procharger kit? Sorry if it's posted elsewhere, but I couldn't find it.

GREAT idea! Or even a whole new subcategory? I think that this will become one of the hottest topics for discussion, once more manufacturers release their models. Mods...?

Procharger!

I wish I had the money I used to where I didn't have to worry about blowing up a motor. The cost of the blower is rough enough but then unless you got cash your always worried about a major engine failure. Thats the bad part about these kinds of mods. Unless I have ALOT of extra cash I can't enjoy the mod cause I constantly worry about a blown motor. Hope you have no problems but put away a few extra bucks just in case!!!

Oh, don't scare him off... it will be sweet - just make sure it's tuned right (RICH), don't always be in the boost, and don't redline it and you'll be fine...

Superchargers aren't as scary as some make them out to be - be smart and your engine will survive many happy miles...

I would actually consider it on my '05, I'm just waiting to see how strong these 5R55 auto's are.

I personally am getting tired of Prochargers ****! We have been getting the run around from them for 2 months now on the blower we ordered. We have a magazine shoot set up for the World Ford Challenge in a few weeks and it looks like we might not get it on by then!

I'm installing it myself, I talked to one of the techs at ATI and he said that the kits are so easy to install on the 05's(as long as you have at least a little bit of mechanical knowledge) and some hand tools.
The only thing I'm doing is after I get it installed taking it to a dyno just to make sure the tune is safe.
