57,58,59 Ford Station Wagon Axles 31 Spline?

I bought a complete 59 Ford rearend for my 66 fastback. The axles are 28 spline. I have been told that the station wagons have bigger bearings. Do they have 31 spline axles as well? I'm fairly sure the answer is no but I would like to know for sure because I have a 31 spline trac lock spool that I would like to use. I also know where a 58 wagon is that I could probably buy the rearend. If not I guess it's go find a 28 spline trac lock.

I've got a 9" that is that vintage from a Ranchero or Station Wagon, but I haven't had it apart. If you can give me your axles lengths from the tip of the axle to the face that the wheel mounts on, I can see if my buddy has a set of 31 splines that will fit.

I'll probably just buy a 28 spline trac lock to keep the cost down. I really don't need 31's for my applicaton. Just trying to go the cheapest route because I know 31 spline axles are usually quite expensive.

None of the 57-59s came with 31 spline axles. Ford didn't start using 31 spline axles until 66.
