5R55 Tranny in Foxbody

I've noticed that PA performance offers the 5R55 Automatic Transmission package for the 5.0L. Has anyone installed one in their foxbody? I'm looking to upgrade my AOD, and I'm wondering if I should just go w/ the 5R55 and never have to worry about it again...Curious of what type of stall converter it has though...

Seems pricey though.

The way I read it....

$3300 for the trans
$300 for the adapter to the ford small block
$100 for the torque converter adapter

And a $600 core charge that I don't think an aod will get back for you.

For over $4k....is it worth it to you?

Prolly Not I'll probably stick with my AOD & just improve some of its features...The 5 Spd Auto does sound nice though!
