I have an '89 GT w/ an AOD. I plan on swapping over to a T-5 very soon, but wnat to find out what other parts I'm going to need. Here is what I have already:
T-5 Tranny/Bellhousing
Crossmember
Clutch Kit
Flywheel
Shifter
Flexplate
Clutch Cable
Fork

I know I need the pedal assembly and a good clutch quadrant, but what else will I need? Also, what parts can I use off my stang?

You might need a speedo gear, but might be able to use the stock one

You won't need it but...you might want to go ahead and get an aluminum driveshaft...

Uh you'll need a trannie mount (crossmember) and neutral safety switch i believe. Where you said flexplate, i believe you meant blocking plate.

I just did mine....you need a 5 spd wire harness,it's the small harness that connects under the drivers seat and goes to tranny, you need a speedo gear/5spd gear is different than aod gear, some of the bellhousing bolts may be too long, pilot bearing, alot of beer to change the friggin pedals and move the speedo cable... If you know a midget, it may help...
