Can I use the 6 bolt GT crankshaft in a 99 GT windsor block? The original crank had 8 bolts and thought I saw somewhere that those crankshafts (the 6 bolt) only fit in the romeo blocks, is that true?
It will fit in the windsor block but for somereason Ford puts different parts in the same engine. Different plants put in different parts. Just like they put press on cam gears on Windsors but bolt on cam gears on Romeos.
