6 disc Mach head unit in a 99. Will this work?

Hey i want to get one of the 2001 and up 6 disc mach 460 units to replace my 99 mach 460 2 seperate din system, my brother has it and i think it sounds 100x's better and would really like to get it in my car, i just wanted to know if anyone has done it or if it can be done? will it wire up?

you can do it, but you would need to replace the the center dash plate with one from a newer mustang. you may also need a new wiring harness.
