if you can seriously afford it. if it is going to bankrupt you, i wouldnt do it

remember you not only have to pay for the blower, but a dyno tune, install (if you cant do it yourself) etc....

Not to be mean but if you have to ask if its worth it for a college student, that tells me you probably shouldnt get it.

Sales tax and shipping is something else you'll have to add. Expect to pay an additional $400-500 dollars to that $3900.

A dyno tune isn't necessary, since it does come with a chip that supposedly has a conservative tune. But to be honest, I don't fully trust it. That's why I had mine tuned on the day of install. But given your situation; if your motor goes, you're REALLY screwed.

I cnanot tell you if it's worth it or not, since I don't know how much $$$ you're making. But if I were you, I'd hold off and concentrate on school first. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

I think that's the right decision. And who knows, maybe you'll be able to get something even better by then?

If you really want to save for the blower, keep saving and dont blow your money on bolt-ons. Just keep saving up and when the mod bug hits, work on your suspension so it will be ready to but the power of the KB to the ground.

With your mods (gears and exhaust) you should be able to take an SRT-4 anyway, unless it has some descent modifications.

Rather than graduating college and buying a $40k+ car right off the bat you should think about buying a house first.. Nothing is more pitiful than a person living in an apartment with a car equal to their annual salary.

Then you also have a garage in which to work on your car! Then you can buy a 3-4 year old Cobra that will easily put out 450rwhp (with bolt ons) for less than half the price of the new one!

yea...i should be making anywhere from 40-70k w/ my degree so payments on a 40k car & a house w/ a few buddies from hs seems to be an option...i refuse to be that guy living in a trailor house w/ a shelby gt 500...dont worry! ill roll my GT until i know i have enough money to finance the shelby

Thanks man but mine is Dark Shadow Grey, not Mineral Grey. The Mineral Grey is more of a brownish.
