6 psi KB s/c

yea i was thinking about saving up for one...but i might just do it in two or three years when im finished w/ college & making some real money...ill probably just stick to bolt ons & if i dont want to get a newer stang when i grad do it then...

Sales tax and shipping is something else you'll have to add. Expect to pay an additional $400-500 dollars to that $3900.

A dyno tune isn't necessary, since it does come with a chip that supposedly has a conservative tune. But to be honest, I don't fully trust it. That's why I had mine tuned on the day of install. But given your situation; if your motor goes, you're REALLY screwed.

I cnanot tell you if it's worth it or not, since I don't know how much $$$ you're making. But if I were you, I'd hold off and concentrate on school first. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

I think that's the right decision. And who knows, maybe you'll be able to get something even better by then? :spot:

If you really want to save for the blower, keep saving and dont blow your money on bolt-ons. Just keep saving up and when the mod bug hits, work on your suspension so it will be ready to but the power of the KB to the ground.

yea i was hoping id grad in spring of 07...and im sure yall all know what should be coming out around then...those shelby gt 500's!!! i might have to upgrade from the GT after college...and i should be able to fund it w/ a stat degree's salary. i just got anxy on a s/c b/c one of my buddies was talkin shat w/ his "powerhouse" neon srt...and also id be real screwed if i blew the engine w/ all the added hp from a KB blower...ill probably keep on adding bolt ons to hang w/ all the other v8s lurking around town and wait for those 450 hp stallions get put out on the lots!

With your mods (gears and exhaust) you should be able to take an SRT-4 anyway, unless it has some descent modifications.

Rather than graduating college and buying a $40k+ car right off the bat you should think about buying a house first.. Nothing is more pitiful than a person living in an apartment with a car equal to their annual salary. :D

Then you also have a garage in which to work on your car! Then you can buy a 3-4 year old Cobra that will easily put out 450rwhp (with bolt ons) for less than half the price of the new one! :)

yea...i should be making anywhere from 40-70k w/ my degree so payments on a 40k car & a house w/ a few buddies from hs seems to be an option...i refuse to be that guy living in a trailor house w/ a shelby gt 500...dont worry! ill roll my GT until i know i have enough money to finance the shelby
