NICE! That makes me feel a lot better. If you dont mind me asking... how much did it cost you to install?

Well, I don't really know if I can answer that question acurately. I did a hydraulic clutch at the same time. The trans alone costs around $3000. Your choice of clutch, flywheel, scattershield, etc will vary the cost. If I were doing it today I would contact McLeod and get the scattershield, flywheel (billet steel), clutch disk, and pressure plate from them. These components will be the same that would be needed for a toploader setup. You will need a clutch disk with a 1 1/8-26 spline input. You can get an adapter for the speeometer cable (converts from GM to Ford), or install the GM speedometer bullet and use a different cable or an electronic speedo. You will need a gm slip yoke (1 3/8-32 spline) for the drive shaft. A new crossmember will need to be fabbed up

Holy crap that is the funniest thing ever. I'm tempted to edit it away, but it's just too good!

I had just seen some other argument on that subject elsewhere (that's where I got the link) so I guess I jumped the gun...
