6 speed in place of 3650 ?

Can the Tremec 3650 transmission be replaced by the 6 speed that is in the cobras? Is there any advantage to having a 6 speed over a 5 speed? I would like to think they can go right in. Is the 6 speed transmission holding up good in the new cobras?

yep. it will work just fine. you may have to move or modify the rear tranny mount though. not a big deal at all. I'd say it would be about 2-3 hours of labor tops for someone with experiance.

I wouldn't consider swapping to a 6 speed until you are pushing atleast 275rwhp. Your car will be a dog off the line with a 2.75 1st gear multiplier. I think there is a place you can get custom gearing for a 6 speed though which would be ideal.
