I am in the building stages of my motor... I am on a little bit of a tight budget... I have a 1997 Mustang GT Convertible... I have a complete forged shortblock stage 3 P&P PI heads with SHM cams... Im probably going turbo tho! But I was wondering what fuel pump and so forth will I need to get near 600 rwhp? I know the 255lph is almost out of the question... And I will probably have to go bigger than 50# fuel injectors to be on the safe side... Any help is highly appreciated...

aeromotive fuel system is the best money can. My friends procharged cobr has a 1200 hp pump and fuel pressure regulator

55 lb injectors should do it

Dual pumps can only be used on the other fuel system though correct??? How much money would this aeromotive one be and all I would need is the external pump correct???

The 96-98 can be modded to a new fuel system, returnless or return style you can run. My friend had a 96 cobra and than put in a 01 cobra engine and no limit motorsports did the conversion and than later they added added a sumped pan, 1/2 fuel line, aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, aeromotive 1200 hp pump. A big part of it is his FAST unit (speed-pro). I can't get into bigger details. But anything and everything is possible on our cars.

Don't want to totally speak for Micool, but I think the only thing he's changing on the fuel system is the fuel rails. Hard to believe that the stock fuel rails got it to 663 rwhp, but they did. All the rest of the fuel system is supporting nicely.

yeah i understand just trying to point him in the direction of someone that has done it. i dont know his entire fuel system though, and you are right about the fuel rails from what i understand also. Unless he has something else up his sleeve.
