Looking for photos of how the hard lines are run at the rear floor of a Mustang coupe plus how the rubber brake hose is attached to the rear end housing. I know I need to relocate the hard line bracket. The routing from the hose on the rear is confusing when looking at the outlets.

Already purchased the correct dual exhaust brake hose.

The line on the floor follows the same route. It needs to be extended or replaced for dual exhaust. Glazier/Nolan has an extension, and the dual floor bracket.

Dennis here is what I did on my sister's car....Just a simple extension of the factory line and a home made bracket...I also found by turning the position of the flex line on the rear end housing you can gain some additional clearance if you need it...

I converted from single exhaust to dual exhaust brakes a while back.

For the bracket location, find the two raised borders in the car's body. The border is on the left and the bottom where the bracket is to be mounted.

Thanks Sparx. I too had found the raised areas and was able to verify its purpose with 2+2's and now your photo too.

I am in the process of running new brake lines on my 65. I ran the rear down the side of the frame and subframe connectors that we welded in. We just installed the rear end tonight and i was wondering how the pipes would clear the rear flex brake hose. Thanks guys for the info and pics. I will fab up another hanger and move the hose over for the additional clearance.
