65-66 GT350 Racing Apron

I was thinking about installing a GT350 front racing apron on my 66 Mustang, but was wondering where you would put your front license plate at? Colorado requires that you have a front plate.

remember that when you order one of these, you will have to remove the hood latch bracket or notch the apron. You will also have to loosen up your headlight doors to slide the lip up behind them. As for mounting a plate....there are lots of options. Mount it in the opening, or drill some holes on one side of the aprong, or fab up some kind of bracket.

Here is a shot of mine...................I think the plate in the opening would look kind of cool provided it does not lead to overheating. Hood pins will keep it in place without the latch assembly.
