Anyone have pix of how the original or aftermarket parking cable attaches to the parking brake lever of the rear discs. TIA

There was not any factory rear discs available. Do you have a Versailles rear end?

No, I changed the 8" to new MOSER 9" with SSBC disc brakes. I'll put up some shots.

if the caliper was in the back, i think i could modify the existing parking cable to work. but since the leaf spring is in the way, the caliper can only go in the front of the rotor. the existing cable would have to bend over 90 degrees to work... it sure doesn't bend easily. a L-bracket for the parking cable is not shown. it bolts to the caliper mount bracket.

EDIT: will this LOKAR cable work?? Lokar EC8004U - Lokar Rear Brake Cable Assemblies - Overview - SummitRacing.com

I have to think SSBC has already solved this problem, since it's their brake. They should have told you how already, as part of selling you the brakes.

Instructions said to go look at LOKAR cables. I wanted to see if anyone modified the original cables.

That is surprisingly lame. I would have expected better from SSBC.

I am having the same problem I have an idea to use the existing cable but haven't had the chance to implement it yet. I will post pics as soon as I do, but dont hold your breath...I'm pretty bad with that stuff.
