Electrical 65 Battery

Does anyone know if a group 65 battery would fit in my 93? Autozone's 65-DLG has dimensions of 7.56W x 12.06L x 7.56H.

Measure your battery tray and that will get you length and width. Measure from where the battery would sit in the tray to a straight edge across the fenders. Measure from the top of the hood to the bottom of the hood from and subtract that from the last measurement. That will get you the height.

Or just do google search you lazy…kidding but not really.

I'm looking at putting a group 65 battery in a 5.0 87-93 fox body that looks mostly stock but isn't. Any hood clearance issues with this battery? (still keeping stock underhood felt cover thing in the car) Any battery bracing adjustments needed? Any battery case shaving required? Any battery...

Yes a 65 fits. I ran one before I moved mine to the hatch
