I was going to use these guys (OE glass, $1000 for all of them) but I think they are out of business-

http://www.musclecityglass.com/

Anybody got a vendor they can recomend that isn't gonna charge me a gazillion dollars?

Who is the vendor to Scott Drake? Is it Carlite or Visteon?

I need all of the glass. All mine has sanding marks from errant DA sanders over 40 years.

Anybody have any experence with the aftermarket/Drake pot metal wind window frames?

All those pieces individual from CA Mustang are over $1400 for glass of unknown origin. I can get this set from DM for under $750 - again, of unknown origin.

The DM deal sounds much better. I just did a quick Google search. Call them and ask them who makes the glass. Even if somone bought the exact same glass from them , you don't know if they changed vendors since then.

Dallas Mustang is out. They won't ship, and I'm not driving to Texas for it.

This is becoming increasingly frustrating.

So far, nobody will sell me any of this because:

1. We don't work on cars that old (local Carlite vendor).
2. We don't ship glass (DM).
3. We do windshields only (everybody else).

I'm about to punt and buy the Taiwainese glass from gpsuperstore.

There are quite a few suppliers of glass for Mustangs. Here are two that I have used in the past.

OEM will be more expensive because all of thier glass is made in usa.

PS auto glass will be cheaper and quicker, especially if you have the logo and date code etched in.

PS Glass only has windshelds. They are insanely cheap. I need all of it.

No. It's done. I had a brand new windsheld and somebody was screwing around with an oxy acetline torch making black smoke and pitted it beyond use. You can polish out an occasional scratch, but not damage like these. Somebody got a DA into the side glass somewhere before I owned it, they are ruined.

Cal Mustang is getting their glass from Scott Drake, and SD uses several vendors - one of them Taiwainese - and are of unknown quality.

The guy at the counter told me they wouldn't ship when I called. He might of been wrong or not want to mess with me.

Todd is the only one I spoke with who has actually used his glass, and knew something about the product, so thank you Jim for the tip!

I just got it, plus a front left 1/4, and a bumper from them. Not sure what to tell you other than I had no problems with them shipping them.
