We are getting ready to cut my neighbors coupe into a vert pretty soon. I think the glass is in pretty good condition and the 4 side glass is going to get is replaced.If your interested i'll see if he want to sell it.

My used glass is driver OK, I just wanted a car with all new 'glass.

I spend $1500 on materials to spray it last week, plus the $7000 I got into parts and labor so far..........and I haven't painted it yet. What's a couple of hundred extra dollars after all the money I've flushed so far?

glass education

i noticed a few things in this thread that need to be cleared up.

1. Muscle City Glass is out of business and has been for a couple years
2. OEM glass does not necessarily use all USA made products - there just ain't much that's made here in the states anymore
3. PS Auto Glass has all of the windows you need, they just might not be on the website
4. just because it's made in taiwan does not mean it's cheap quality glass, but everything is made thinner these days.
5. Carlite still manufactures windshields, but only the windshields for the older cars, they don't do any side or rear windows anymore.


i'm not a mustang expert, but i am a glass guy and i know my industry fairly well.

I was wondering if anyone has made a one piece side window conversion kit. That would be trick. I'm thinking of having a piece of glass made for it and deleting the little vent windows.
