I have a 65 coupe with a 1980 302 and a c4 trnsmission,does anyone know what driveshaft will fit? it has the 6 cylinder rearend in it.Thanks

I know,I know you all won't answer me because you think I am a dumb newbie that is marring a perfectly good mustang coupe, however I did just remove the 305 smc that the previous owner put in.I will be getting an 8 inch rear ,but in the meantime I would like to drive the vehicle but it had chevy slip yoke and a ford drive shaft.

I would assume that with your C4 and rear end that a regular 65 driveshaft will fit. The PO of my car put a v8 in front of my c4(originally a I6), and kept the original driveshaft with crappy rear. Luckily for me im changing to an 8.8inch rear right now so I will have to get a new possibly aluminum driveshaft .
