I have a 65 mustang with a 1991 5.0 and a Tremac 5 speed. I want to install headers, but every header type I've tried hits the clutch linkage. It is 5 speed with a mechanical clutch linkage. Any ideas?
Are you using a toploader hellhousing with the trans spacer plate and the clutch pivot adapter for the latemodel block? If so, I would think that the linkage is in the stock location and that stock application headers ought to fit. I have always liked Hooker Comps.
