65 mustang timing pointer question

This might sound like a newbie question but what side of the waterpump does the timing pointer go on. If anybody has any pics that would help too. Thanks

Mine is located on the drivers side. Should be just below the distributor, easy to watch while your making timing adjustments.

the drivers side of the timing cover.It uses a timing cover bolt and a threaded boss on the cover.Mine got lost so i dont have any pics.

Some covers have a cast in pointer. Whatever side your waterpump inlet is on, the pointer is on the opposite side. Pointer's at either 10 o'clock or 2 o'clock depending on the pump inlet.
