66 Conv - how to move seat back further

This is a 1966 Mustang convertible.
Have a 6'4" son who can't fit easily into the driver's seat. I need to move the seat back further.

I took a look at the seat rails, and the fronts of the rails hook up over a raised horizontal hump, so it's not as simple as just just relocating the rails back 2".

Surely someone has tackled this before?
Is there a kit out there to make it simple?

Appreciate any recommendations/suggestions.
Thx

I've done it a while back
I modified the seat rails with cutting and welding.
Moving the floor pans riser is also a possibility but more drilling, cutting and welding.
But you can lower the riser and thus seat while doing this also.

modified originals
3 inch made a world of difference for my stretched out 6'4" frame
cut hook off lengthen with piece and welded back on
welded studs for back hole to bottom
used some angle iron and pipe to floor for support off the rear
was ugly but strong

Tracs kind of became toe hazard for back seat passengers though

I have modified fox seats now but same recipe sort of.

Good work around.
I was hoping for a simple take-off and put on some rails from another car.
I know I just better bite the bullet and pull the seat out and have a closer look.
I can tell this will mean a week or two with the car not drivable as I experiment with different solutions.
Typical.
