Have or are there any front coil over conversions that mount the coil over to the upper a-arm?
Most if not all conversions have a long coil over that mounts to the lower a-arms.
I haven't done any specific measuring but is there a technical reason the lower coil over mount can't mount in the same location of the stock spring perch and the upper spring goes into the upper spring pocket. The upper shock would mount in the same position. It means somewhat of a short shock coilover assembly.
How much travel is typical in the upper a-arm?
I'm close to starting the reassembly of my car and I have used front coil over conversion in my Camaro and Nova. I like the adjustability of the ride height and rebound rate.
Thanks in advance
