Hi guys, i'm not sure if this is in the right area or not so if it isn't then sorry about this. Feel free to move it to the correct area if need be aswell, anyway onto the question. I was just wondering if anyone could maybe photo shop the pic of my car and lower it a bit, also try a putting a few different wheels on it. I'm thinking of lowering it a few inches and putting 17's on it but want to get more of an idea before i go ahead with it. The wheels i'm thinking of are bon speed 'sweep', 'intense 5' and 'clutch'. If anyone can help me out with this that would be great.

wow those are all nice choices for rims (I'm kinda thinking the second ones. The twisted star "sweep"). There is a forum specially for photoshop requests though. You will get better results from here --->

WTF ? I can't paste in the link. Oh well go back to the stangnet forums, and scroll down the the bottom and look in the "virtual body shop" forums.

When you start a thread there if you want anyone to mess with it be sure you have good side view pics of the car, and sideviews of the rims other wise they'll pass it up b/c it's too much time required to meet your request. I'd read the forum rules before beginning a thread there. If I were you I'd get a pic of the whole side of your car (not at an angle) first to avoid the possibility getting your thread ignored, but maybe the angle of your car and the angle of the rim pics could work if they flip the rim pics around so I dunno.

before reading you post, i thought
man that car would look super sweet if it was lowered lol

i got some 600 lbs 1 inch drop front coils (it was like $30 bucks a piece) and it made a world of a difference in the look and handling of my car

changing the spring is super easy - i thought it was gonna be all tough
after i spent a long time doing the first one (figuring it out) the second one took me an hour and a half by myself

i think you should do that before buying new rims...
just my recomendation

RajunCajun bonspeed make these wheels, you can check em' out at http://www.uswheel.com/bonspeed/set.htm
I was leaning towards the sweep aswell but i was at an american muscle car show here the other day and saw a 68 coupe with 18" or 19" intense 5 wheels on it. Not very practical but looked down right awesome!
Yeah Jonstantine hopefully it will look a lot better when lowered. I've been meaning to do it for the last few months but just havn't got around to it. I think if it looks good lowered and with the wheels already on it then i will keep it like that until i want a change.

Yeah, they may look cool, to some, but the optimum profile for tire is between 40-45, so they arent gonna make your car any faster...

I'm not overly fussed about making my car go faster (well not yet anyway!). I drive it every day so it's kind of just my cruising car for now. I live in australia so the freight to ship the wheels would be a bit but i'm probably just gonna hold onto them in case i wan't to swap back to them at some stage.
