As posted in a different thread, I have lots of play in my steering. I found it to be the pitman are to ram cylinder connection. So rather than replace it with that piece ( I forget what it's called ) that replaces the ram cylinder with no re-alignment, I decided to just replace the drag link (cheaper used than 115 bucks) because when I do the granada swap, I will have to re-align anyways. I already have the idler arm for the manual steering. The pitman arm is different too isn't it ? Will say a 69 drag link work ? Reason I ask, is there is a 69 coupe in the junk yard right now that still has all this stuff. Would it fit ? Thanx in advance.
67-68 center/drag links, any others the same ?

I just finished converting my 68 from power steering to manual, and I just finished up the alignment.
The manual steering centerlinks between 67-69 and manual steering pitman arms between 5/1/1967 and 1969 are the same on manual cars. Power steering centerlinks between 67-69 and pitman arms are the same between 5/1/67-69, however they are different from manual steering components and do not interchange.
I believe what you are refering to is a manual steering adapter, which replaces the power steering control valve, and its not worth it, you will have alot more play originally that what you would like to eliminate.
If I understand correctly, you are wanting to convert to manual also? If so, and the 1969 coupe is also a manual, you can swap the centerlink onto your car. The pitman arm would also work, however the major difference between a power steering pitman arm and the manual steering arm, is that the manual pitman arm is a wearable pitman arm, if you swap out the 69' draglink into your 67, I would recommend purchasing a new one, unless it looks good and sound.
