67-68 GT Question

Gt?

My 67 FB has the standard interior, but is a 4 speed S code GT(In 67 all GT's with A/T where GTA's) . Since these cars have been around awhile and have changed hands, they are very easily cloned with GT Factory parts. The only "true" way that I am aware of, besides the orig. invoice and window sticker, is to get your Marti Report that tells options. http://www.martiauto.com/

Here is a great article on facts and myths of GT's.

I'm going to need more than that (some website) to convince me that you could get the GT equipment group with a c-code in 1967. I'm going on more than 20 years in the hobby, the MCA and the Ford sales literature for that year. Makes me wonder about the validity of the rest of the info too.

I'll need to research my 67 "S" code because when I bought it there were no disc brakes or fog lights on it.
Just because it's an "S" code car doesn't mean it's a GT car. My 67 fastback wasn't. It had the GT motor, but nothing else besides the 9" rear.It had 4 wheel drum brakes, 3 speed Toploader, no A/C P/S. Just a plain Jane fastback with a 390.
