67-68 Mustang headlight switch removal?

Hey, this is my first thread as its my first total dead end I've encountered. I got a 68 mustang and have no idea how to change out the headlight switch! Any ideas? There is next to no room under the dash and I don't even know how to get the knob off. The internet has not been helpful either. Please let me know if you know how to handle this. Thanks.

There is a button on the back side of the switch that you need to push in order for the knob to pull out. You need to reach behind the dash and feel for it on top of the back side of the switch. It has been a long time, but I think all you need to do is use a flat blade screwdriver in the slot on the bezel on the front of the switch and turn it to the left. If its tight it might help to wiggle the back side of the switch as you try to twist the screwdriver to the left. Hope this helps..

The button is a small, silver t-head button about 1/8" or so at the head. It's located on the passenger side of the switch. You can push the switch in with a screwdriver, then pull out the switch knob and blade. This leaves you with a cross-head slot where the blade came out. You can then loosen the switch with either a big phillips or a medium flat blade screwdriver. Then it drops out from behind the dash and you can unplug it easily then and plug in the new one. If you can't get it apart, let me know and I'll shoot some pics of mine disassembled. It only takes a minute to get it out once you know the drill.
