hello everyone, a few questions for you. I have a 67 mustang with a steering box that is shot, and a 68 mustang parts car. question is, I should be able to swap steering columns and be able to use the late model Flaming river steering box that is cheaper, and be safer too, as wasn't 68 the first year for collapsible steering columns? Seems to me this should all just be a bolt in operation, but i want to make sure before i throw down the 400+ bux for a new steering box! thanks in advance,

yes it will all bolt in but there may be some slight wiring differences for the turn signal wiring, nothing that re-pinning the connector won't fix though.

I did the exact same thing and it worked out great. My only problem was the wiring. The harness doesn't use the same connector or the same color wires. Take your time to figure it out. It took me some time, but I'm not the best in terms of anything electrical. With some help from a friend, I got everything to work like new with the exception of the horn. That still doesn't work for me. It is still a great upgrade for any 67 with stock steering assembly.
