I know I will need the cross member and I plan on using the cable conversion. I already have the late model bellhousing so I won't need the spacer/adapter. I have manual starter as well. I plan on getting a aluminum driveshaft. My question is I have the auto console but PO drilled holes in around the hole the shifter comes through to put an after market shifter boot on it. Can I still use it with the T5 by using a manual boot for it? or is the shifter located in a different spot? Also anyone that has did this swap what headers can we use for 5.0 engine. I also need the pedal assembly for the 67 what other years can i look for?

Do you need the manual starter? I used the same one that was on my C4. I did a Tremec swap on my 73 mustang a couple years ago. I compiled some info and posted it on my still unfinished website at http://webpages.acs.ttu.edu/jikelly/Tremec page.htm
My first approach was to use a clutch cable, but after my setup failed I rigged up a hydraulic system that has worked extremely well despite my crude design.
You should still be able to use a manuel shifter boot despite the extra holes, and the T5 shifter will come through at the same spot as the C4's did. Please keep in mind that there will be some cussing involved with your swap.
