I have a 67 convert that I would like to put a console in. the car is a manual and I have a shift plate and I know I have to trim the plastic for it but my question is about the console trim...to install the shift plate does the camera case trim have to be modified? Thanks...

You are talking about the center console correct ?

The frame of a manual and an auto console are different. Its been a LONG time but from what I remember, the top trim plate from an auto can be put onto a manual console but not the other way around. In order to fit a manual trim plate to an auto console, you have to trim down the frame of the auto console.

Is that what you were asking ?
