Well, there is some progress being made, I have cut out the front fender aprons on the driver side leaving the shock tower in to line up with. I have also cut away the seat pan on the driver's side, welded the cowl repair panels in and sealed them. I will then test the seal and add paint. Next step is to finish cutting out the floor, torque box and start reassembly of that side. Here are some pics to date.

Well, the transmission tunnel looks solid at the top, good thing water runs down hill.
Yoiks you got your hands full buddy!!!!!!! What the heck are you welding to, the air?
You said this one was a friends car right? But also that you thought your 68' parts car coupe was too rough to make a hard top vert out of? How frickin rough could it be man?

I know, I should be redoing the 68 coupe for him and using this as the parts car. At least everything will be new on this car pretty much.

Actually the sun visors are in great shape too. The back seat is also untorn but since we are recovering the front seats we want a perfect match. The only concern I have are doing the inner rockers, they do not look fun.
Anyone have any good tips on repairing/replacing them? Can you get them off a good donor car?

My floors looked like that too, but a little time and effort can give great results! And in the end you learn a lot of stuff to take with you to your next projects. Looks like a good time to me!
