Im helping my boss build a 67 convertible we bought off Craigs list. Our restoration shop we use is awesome but I like to research etc. We just bought a new 347 stroker with fuel injection from Blueprint.
Any ideas on a front end? Our shop has used Pinto's in the past and they like them. I'm curious of options?

It really depends on what the expectations are for when you're done. How much does your boss want to spend? I've seen setups from 700 to 7000.

WE want modern performance, comfort, safety, but no need to go over board. We look at cars like an investment that will be sold some day and perhaps even within 5 years. Each segment has to have a fair budget so at the end there is a profit or break even. Right now im looking at Heidts Mustang II set up at $2,425.
The car cost 6,000 as is
new motor by blue print with fuel injection is 6,650
exterior in great shape except for top
will need interior, exterior trim kit
As you can see after this great motor I need to really be careful with the bucks

That is the problem with classics such as Mustangs ,they used to be cheap to build but not any more .Trying to build one on a tight budget is almost impossible ,much less make a profit or even break even .
It is easy to get more into it than you can sell it for .

If it were mine and I had 3k to mess with, I would either do this:

or this:
