The reason you don't see details on which wire goes to which connector is it isn't supposed to work that way. The ignition switch connects to a single rubber plug that makes it impossible to connect them wrong.
If your plug is missing, you can get a new one.
If you really have to run the engine before you get the replacement plug, don't even try to wire the switch. The pink wire is the power to the coil, and you can just start the engine at the solenoid under the hood. And send for a new plug right away. Really, even if I was certain which wires connected to which terminals, it's not safe to have individual wires connected there.
Ah, you need something that's powered only when the starter is engaged. Just run a temporary lead to the "S" terminal on the solenoid.

i need this to be permanent for the EFI harness.
Connect the EFI to the plug when it comes.
It also needs to be hot when the switch is "ON" or "Crank" position. The instructions states to connect it to the ignition switch. If i connect it to the S terminal will that be hot during "ON" and "CRANK" or just during "CRANK" ?
"S" means start circuit. The big fat wire goes to the starter, and the little one on the S terminal supplies full 12V to the coil only when the starter is engaged.
i am not very electrically inclined and i apologize for the many Q's, i just like to double check and not blow anything up.
I don't blame you. I worry about such stuff, too. Last summer I had to fix a Mustang which had the coil and solenoid wired wrong by a Ford dealer.
excellent. I understand that one. So once i get the ignition switch plug, do u know which wire i need to tap into on 1967 mustang (wiring diagram was attached in a previous post)?
