Hey guys, brand new to the forum! Got a question for you guys. I've got a '67 with the deluxe interior (brushed aluminum) and was wondering how to install some autometer ultra-lite gauges in them. Im not much on ordering from JME or Haneline and spending $1000 for a dash insert so i figured i could make my own. I figured out that if you snap off the little lip that surrounds the hole where the gauges mount, you can fit the 2 5/8" gauges easily. The problem is on the 5" speedo and tach....im not sure how to fit them! Maybe cut them with a dremel tool? Does anyone manufacture such a panel where there would be no cutting? Any info would be awesome!
