Hi everyone,

I went to the docks on Thursday to collect my newly purchased '67 390 GTA fastback. Very dirty, but WOW! Everything seems fine but putting it on the trailer I noticed it doesn't have a parking brake. No lever, cables, nothing

Here in England we have a safety check called an MOT, which is required every year. I dont think it will pass without a parking brake

Could anyone list the parts required to fit a parking brake from scratch??

Regards
Darren

I'd check some of the online Mustang parts companies websites and maybe send them an e-mail asking what you need.

Virginia Mustang supply has a catalog you can search through for parking brake items at http://www.vamustang.com .

Johns Mustang also has a catalog to search through as well at http://www.johnsmustang.com .

There are a bunch of other Mustang parts websites as well. Maybe one has a diagram of the parking brake setup to look at or maybe a Chiltons manual would have it. I don't know.

Good luck!

You can buy a complete parking brake set-up from most Mustang dealers!
I think it's under $100 for the set-up, minus the under car brakets and cable.
