When rolling the window up everything appears to work as it should. Then in the middle of rolling it down, it hangs. If I force it, one or both of the shafts pop loose from the plastic rollers that fit in the tracks. If I reach in and hold the L-shaped arm with the shafts to keep it in the correct plane, I can feel it try to flex, but the window rolls down more or less properly.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? I'm guessing that something is bent or worn on the regulator, but I'd like to rule out as much as possible before buying a new one.

The regulator arms are bent, and should be straightened or replaced.
