I am midway in a '67 fastback restoration. So far have installed 351W, T-5z and a Randall's Rack rack and pinion. The steering shaft is a long (non-rag joint) item and I want to keep the original column (for esthetic reasons). Problem: The upper shaft bearing is missing and I don't seem to find a source for a replacement. A Stangnet contributor (ChiTownPack) had the same problem and says the part no. is C40Z-3517A. He has tried '65,6 upper and '67 lower with no success. He didn't get any responses.
Any help?
