67 Steering Wheel Horn Problem

Hello,

First time posting. Recently got a 67 mustang and am slowing restoring it. Replacing the steering wheel, horn, turn signal assembly and when I went to put my steering wheel back on, the horn immediately started blaring. So I unplugged the horn wires for now. The turn signals work. Just not sure what the issue is.

As long as the steering wheel is off there's no issue. So I'm guessing it has something to do with the steering wheel and the contact it makes with the horn.

I've included some pics. Is there anything you see that I'm not seeing?

i've taken the horn assembly off the wheel, and the horn still goes off.
