I would like to keep my car as close to stock as possible and was wondering if anyone knew how to or what tool to use to hook up old trunk springs. Gas cylinders have been recomended and I like that option if I can't get these springs to work. Where would I find these cylinders if it comes to that.

I just did mine

I might be able to help you on this - but I need more information. I must replaced both the leaf springs and the shocks. Is this what you are refering to? If it is the shocks - stick with the regular or adjustable air shocks. I put heavy duty shocks on mine for a couple of years and the ride was way to stiff. If it is the leafe springs - reply and I will tell you what I had to do to get it to work!
